Forte Belanger Announces Induction of Nick Forte into Michigan Meetings + Events “Hall of Fame”

TROY, Mich. – Nick Forte, General Manager of Forte Belanger was recently inducted into the Michigan Meeting + Events magazine’s 2008 “Hall of Fame” as Best Up-and-Coming Supplier.

The Michigan Meetings + Events Magazine Hall of Fame awards are presented to honor individuals who have shown leadership in and/or have made remarkable contributions to the meetings and events industry in the state of Michigan.

Forte has been involved in all aspects of Forte Belanger for the past 11 years, with the last 3.5 years as General Manager. As General Manager he oversees the performance, communication, direction and logistics of Forte Belanger’s event procedures from inception with the company’s sales team through actual event implementation.

Forte most recently coordinated and oversaw the launch of Forte Belanger’s fresh, new corporate brand identity and website designed to reflect the company’s mission to create “Remarkable Events”.

While in his new position, Forte Belanger has experienced year after year growth totaling 60% in increased revenue as well as earn numerous awards, including Michigan Meeting & Events Magazine’s “Best Off-Site Caterer” and the “Best Caterer” award by Hour Detroit magazine; four years in a row.

Forte attended Michigan State University, and majored in Hospitality Business at the renowned Eli Broad School of Business. He currently resides in Birmingham.
